Silane Impregnating Agent

BOOU’s silane impregnating agent is a penetrating, non-film-forming waterproof sealer based on alkylalkoxysilane technology. It penetrates deeply into concrete (≥3mm), forming an invisible hydrophobic barrier that blocks water, chloride, and corrosive salts while preserving the concrete’s original appearance and breathability.

Product Introduction

BOOU Silane Impregnating Agent (silane penetrating sealer / silane water repellent) is a high-performance, surface-applied, non-film-forming waterproofing system based on alkylalkoxysilane technology, designed for long-term durability protection of reinforced concrete structures. The active silane molecules penetrate deeply into the concrete substrate (≥3mm), react with internal hydroxyl groups to form a dense, hydrophobic silicone resin network that blocks the ingress of water, chloride ions, carbon dioxide, sulfate, and other corrosive media from within — without altering the concrete surface appearance or reducing breathability.

Applications

  • Bridges & Highways: Bridge decks, piers, abutments, highway barriers, and viaducts exposed to deicing salts and freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Marine & Coastal: Ports, wharves, sea walls, offshore wind turbine foundations, and coastal structures exposed to seawater and salt mist.
  • Tunnels & Underground: Tunnel linings, metro stations, and underground utility structures in chloride-rich groundwater environments.
  • Industrial & Energy: Cooling towers, chemical plant structures, and saline-alkali zone facilities under aggressive corrosion exposure.
  • Municipal Infrastructure: Overpasses, retaining walls, drainage channels, and urban road structures.
  • Heritage & Architectural: Historic masonry and stone buildings requiring invisible, non-aesthetic-altering protection.
